Just came back from Batam View Resort. A short getaway with hubby though it is somewhere near but i think we both enjoyed. The uncomfortable part of the trip i think is the travelling on the ferry. Get so giddy and feel like vomiting.
Our trip was a 2 days 1 night trip.
We woke up early in the morning at 6am, prepared and went Macdonald to have our breakfast. At 7+ we went to wait for the bus to boon lay mrt station. We have to take 23 station before we reach Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal. We are asked to check in at 9am but we are early about 30mins. After getting our boarding pass and etc... we walk around at the terminal. Nothing special there just a few Robert shop which sells very expensive things. We proceed out to sit at the stone chair but hubby don't like the feeling of staying outside. Cos it is hot and later body smell of salt. haha... ... A boring waiting for departure. But we are looking forward to Batamview. Yeah.
Hubby felt so uncomfortable when he cant Shit this few days. So we go to the food court to have a cup of hot coffee. I think it helps cos i always used hot coffee as a way to help me shit in the morning. Hehe... And it really helps, Hubby really shit when we step in the Hotel room.
Good remedy right!!!!!
At about 9+am we went in and wait for our ferry. Then we board the ferry at 9.50am. Its start to leave the terminal at 10am. The trip took us 45mins, when we reach we are fetch by the hotel bus and just the 2 of us boarding the bus. Hubby say he felt so special ... haha...
The staff was very polite anf they bring their smile on their face everytime. The Deluxe room we are staying look great. It faces the beach and the swimming pool. The first words which come out from our mouth is "Wah, so nice and comfortable room".
Nothing special at batam, most of them will be shopping shopping snd shopping. They are selling cheaper Polo shirt compared to singapore. I think most of the tourist there will get one for themselves. Hubby bought one shirt and i bought one collar t-shirt.
The place where we stay are not very convenient, travelling is a big problem for us. The way we get to town was buy the ticket from the counter to their Megamall shopping centre then others have to take taxi.
We went to have a aroma massage at only $24 for 2 hrs. Good bargain right. Not many comment on the massage. The next day, we have our buffet breakfast then went to the beach to take some picture. At first our return trip was at 4.30pm batam time but we change to 2pm batam time. Cos really nothing much near the hotel and our check out time is 12pm. Wise decision is take a earlier ferry back to SG.
When returning to SG, we got a big fright. Actually we are not suppose to bring in duty free ciger but we secretly bring in 2 packets which hubby cant finish. Lucky we hide it in the dirty clothes plastics bag. The police really check every single items that we bring... So lucky that he nv open the dirty clothes plastics bag if not i think we got to get fine. 1 packet up to $200.
Cold sweat rolling down our forehead. We are damn "HENG"... ... After the custom check we went off and head to Bedok to have lunch. In our mind, we are thinkng really Damn "Heng".
Overall the trip is ok. a short getaway for leaving SG routine lifestyle.
My next target trip should be "Rendang" or " Tioman". A clear beach.
